This place is the truth. I lived in LA for 15 years (grew up here in the bay area) and the one thing I miss most is the authentic Mexican food that my bestie's mama used to make. Met the owner Beto and he's a chill dude. He's got the aunties in the kitchen hooking it up. I've had their enchiladas, burritos and tacos, as well as the elote tamales. My kid LOVES their birria tacos and especially the birria grilled cheese (a once-a-week requirement to keep her happy ). The service is amazing and the environment is pleasant. Check them out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I love their guapos tacos. I'm a huge fan of their chicken soup :) I've been eating there for years.

Randomly stumbled upon this place and it did not disappoint. The quesobirra was great - fresh, crispy, and it came with awesome jus. The shrimp tacos were also delicious, especially with the salsa verde!

Quickly became my favorite "go to" Tacqueria. The ladies are very friendly. I believe I have had everything on the menu with the exception of the Pizole and the Menudo. A must stop for their Taco Grande's on Tuesday.

My family wanted Mexican food and we found this place just a short drive from my daughter's home. We first ordered their pupusa meal. This meal comes with a pair of pupusa with pork inside. You sprinkle them with cabbage on top and when you take that bite, it tastes so good. The pork was soft and the pupusa taste like it came out of the pan. I tasted the Salvadorean pupusa before and this one is right there on the top. It also came along with rice and beans The tamale meal is also good. The corn husk is thick and the chicken in between has a big portion. You'll love this meal if you have tamale as your favorite meal. Their wet burrito is something else. It was served with a sauce scattered on top of the burrito. It replaces the salsa that we usually ask to top off the burrito. When you add some hot sauce to it, that will make the burrito perfect. Burrito is so huge that it'll take me both lunch and dinner to finish the whole thing. Our family enjoyed the meal we ordered and was satisfied that we found this place for a Mexican food fix. If you want a quick Mexican meal and grab a good lunch or dinner, drive down Appian way in Hercules.

MORENA TACOS - our new favorite local taqueria thanks to door dash for the recommendation! They are ready for Covid . They have all the tape for social distancing and they have plexi glass as well at the cashier. My daughters love their vegetarian tacos they come with Spanish rice and super flavorful! I usually order the carnitas tacos with cilantro and onion or crispy with cheese. Both ways are delicious and they have a winning recipes. Highly recommend them if you're in Pinole. Will try more from their menu
